Question

    Hi!
Last year I created a WORDPRESS.ORG website before creating a domain through GODADDY.com and getting a website set up through WORDPRESS.COM

My question is, how do I get rid of my ugly wordpress.org post that I created under my same user name!? When I google my site, this old one is still showing up however, when I go to log into my WORDPRESS.ORG account, it’s linked to my WORDPRESS.COM account and my org post is no where to be found…?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there @briannabloomphotography,

When going to the site’s admin panel at http://briannabloomphotography.com/wp-admin does this show?

    http://d.pr/i/wMGehA

If that is the case click the ‘Log in with username and password’ at the bottom of the box to go to the actual login for your .ORG site. This will allow you to get into that Dashboard to remove the particular post. If your browser is auto logging in to your WordPress.COM site, test the /wp-admin link above in a different browser so that you can get to the login window.

When I google my site, this old one is still showing up

Please note that once you are able to remove the old post it can take up to several weeks for Google to actually update and not show that post. You can go to the Google Search Console to submit your site for them to re-crawl after you have successfully deleted the old post, but even then there is no guarantee of it speeding up the process.

    I hope this helps!
