  I am an affiliate marketer, and have done advertising on Facebook, but am exhausted with the constant shut downs. I am trying to start a blog because I have learned I can advertise on my blog, I would like more information on how to do this, thank you!

  There are a couple of ways in which to display ads on your site. On plans Premium and above, you can join WordAds program:

  https://wordpress.com/support/wordads-and-earn/

  If you would like to use a third-party ads service, like AdSense, you’d need a plugin to add custom code. That can be done on plans Business and eCommerce:
