Hi…i have a client who wants me to create a front end website that’s attached to a database they have in place. They store medical records. So the homepage is just a regular website and clients can access the storage by hitting ‘log in’ from there is takes you their database. I just need to make a website that looks pretty on the front end. I am newer to web design and do not code. Could I create a website in wordpress.com using a template and then just transfer the ownership to my client and he could add the website to whereever they are hosting the current one? omg…i hope this makes sense…im sorry if this is a ridiculously stupid question.
The site I need help with is [visible only to staff] (email visible only to moderators and staff).

Hi! Not a dumb question at all.
They may be wanting you to design a site front and then apply some of that styling to the other parts of the site, or they may want your part of things on a completely separate server with a login link, and then use similar styles. Do you know what they intend for that?
