  I have already purchased my domain with Blue Host. larafaucher.com.
  Do I need to purchase this as well…I am wanting to begin building a web site

  Are you planning to host your website here with us on WordPress.com, or were you planning to use the WordPress software, but with Bluehost instead?

  If you’re hosting with us, then you would need to purchase a plan depending on what type of site you’re building (feel free to share more information about that! We’re happy to make suggestions for what plan could be useful). You can connect your larafaucher.com domain from Bluehost to WordPress.com; it’s included in the cost of our plans.

  If you are planning to use the WordPress software directly with Bluehost hosting, then you would not need a plan with us!

  To clarify, there are two ways to use WordPress, you can either use the WordPress software downloaded from WordPress.org onto a web host (also known as self-hosted), or you may host your site with us here at WordPress.com.
