  I get these people copying and pasting my writing on to their weird-looking webpages…it appears under my post as a comment…What are these people doing..why..and is there anyway to stop it?!

  It’s called Blog Scraping, and it is illegal.

  They are doing it so they can surround your post with ads and make money, or so they can appear tops in searches for a particular term. Most of them use bots and never even read your stuff, it’s all automated.

  Delete the trackbacks (comments). They are meant to draw people away from your blog to theirs.

  If there is Google Adsense on their blog, report them. There’s a link on each Adsense box to talk to Google about it, and follow the link to Report Abuse. Fill it all in. Google will take some time to take action, and they’ll ask for a full legal document, etc, etc, but if you keep reporting it they will eventually take away that person’s account, killing the reason for the blog in the first place. That usually stops them.
