Question about 4.4 and responsive images

  Hi there,

  Previously when making site compatible for retina displays, I’ve used the x2 retina plugin. However, I read that WP 4.4 added a responsive images feature. My question is the following:

  If I want to embed an image that displays 600×600 for standard desktop, should I be uploading a 1200×1200 image and just let WP choose? What about the WP image size settings?

  What is the proper workflow for this?
