Question about Akismet Stats page

  On the Akismet Stats page, what is meant by “ham”? I know what spam is, but not ham (I assume they’re not talking about the meat product).

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Ham is false positives: legitimate comments marked as spam. If you moderate your comments then you can determine which ones are spam and which ones are not spam ie. are ham.

  Ham is the opposite of spam — good relevant comments.

  A false positive is ham that Akismet marked as spam.
