Question about API key

  Im using wordpress on my bluehost accountsite and installed a stat counter plugin from this site. Thing is, the API key I got is from THIS site. when i log onto my bluehost accountwordpress page, Ill head to the user profile for my API key but its not there.

  what im trying to get to is if I obtained a API key from wordpress.com and put the key into the plugin on my serverhost, will it display the stats from MY site or WORDPRESS.com siteblog?

  sorry you’ll have have to direct your over at the wordpress.org
  website because our software is different here on wordpress.com

  Actually teck07, the API keys are issued here. mofoe2001 – I thought those keys were just used for Aksimet (the spam thing) and not for stats. I could be wrong, though.

  The API key is needed for the wp-stats plugin, which provides a stats page like the one we’re all familiar with on .com blogs.

  I don’t really understand the question though.
