Question about Awburn theme homepage

    I’m presently using the Stewart theme.

    However, I’ve tried the Awburn theme and would like to know how to assign the Index template (blog) to be the homepage?

    Doing so in Appearance > Homepage Settings, and then selecting to display Posts on the front/homepage doesn’t work (instead, the standard Awburn Homepage remains,)…what am I missing?

    As of this afternoon, it appears that the aforementioned theme has had a name change – now, it’s called Smithland. I’ve tried it, again, and the same static page remains, despite having set Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Your latest posts.

    What must be changed in order to have my latest posts displayed on the homepage?

    Any help is appreciated, thanks.
