question about blog

  Hey
  I started the site yesterday, domain name should be javasblog.com
  Nothing is coming up. Also there keeps popping up references to javasblogdotcom.wordpress.com. I want to be sure its the correct name. When I log into my account, the background picture I chose is not showing up. I don’t know if this is because I just signed up yesterday or not.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I can see your site without trouble. If you are not, you should clear you browser’s cache using the instructions below, and take another look:

  You may have intended to add a new header image, rather than a background? If so, click here:
  https://javasblogdotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Fjavasblogdotcom.wordpress.com%2F

  Select the Header Image tab and add the image you want.

  If you do want a background, could you give me a link to the image in your Media Library, and I can take a look?

  Hey.
  Thanks for the response. When I click on your link, it pops up. But when I google javasblog.com or try and search for it any other way it doesn’t come up. I thought I did a background pic. Is was one with a dog backwards in a lake. I’m not very savvy online, but this site is tricky to navigate. Will I ever be able to find javasblog.com through a search engine, or only through wordpress? Thanks in advance

  Your site is new. It can take search engines 4-6 weeks to index new sites. Here is some information about SEO at WordPress.com:

  Try to add your background image here:
  https://javasblogdotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php?page=custom-background

  However, if what you want to do is replace the header image of the landscape/barn, you should be setting your header (as I instructed in my last note), rather than setting a background.
