Question about calendars
-
Hi. I already have the calendar widget available to me. I’m trying to find out if wordpress users have access to a fullpage calendar so that readers who visit my blog can read about activities and events listed on said calendar? Another option that would work is a sidebar calendar that opens up when clicked on so that–again–people can read information pertaining to planned events written on said calendar…Or is the best I can offer right now is a link to a fullpage calendar? Much appreciated.

Both of those are a No currently. The best workaround is the one you’ve suggested, finding a calendar somewhere offsite and linking to that.

This may be of interest. You can have a free online event calendar hosted by a third party and link to it from your blog.
Calendars Net is a free interactive web calendar hosting service, where you and anyone you choose can post events visible and printable by whomever you choose, or everyone. You can post events that span more than one day (with text flowing across days or even weeks) or that recur every 1st or 4th Tuesday of each month, etc. You can copy the calendar data to your own computer and edit your calendar offline.
Display and edit your own calendar of events. Let others post and view events . . . or not. Link your calendar to your web site. View and print out calendars by the day, week, month, or year. http://www.calendars.net/

Thanks raincoaster and timethief. I’ll certainly check out the calendars Net–sounds like it’ll work out just fine.
