Question about Closing down my account/Gravatar connection

  Hello, I was unable to find or get into my old WordPress account. So recently I set up this new one.

  Tonight I found my old account (LG Zambanini
  @lzambanini) and was able to log in since the pwd was autofilled.

  So, I logged in to my WordPress account (this one) with the intention of deleting it since I found and was able to log into my old account. However when I clicked on the link to delet it i got this warning:

  ‘Account closure cannot be undone.

  You will not be able to open a new WordPress.com account using the same email address for 30 days.

  You will not be able to log in to any other Automattic Services that use your WordPress.com account as a login. This includes WooCommerce.com, Crowdsignal.com, IntenseDebate.com and Gravatar.com. Once your WordPress.com account is closed, these services will also be closed and you will lose access to any orders or support history you may have.

  That gave me pause because I’m worried that WordPress or Gravatar may be connected to a blog i subscribe to on Substack. I am using the same avatar there…does that mean it is connected to ‘GRAVATAR’? If i delete my new WordPress account, will i lose access to my substack subscription (the name of which is ‘Justice For Kennedy’ by Joseph Backes)??

  I just recently subscribed to his blog on Substack and paid $72/year for it. So I don’t want to be disconnected somehow.

  I also subscribe to ‘JFK FACTS’ by Jefferson Morley on Substack, and pay for that too. So I’m worried somehow this Gravatar thing or WordPress may be connected to Substack and by closing my newly made WordPress Account I’ll be shut out of my subscritions on Substack

  Please clarify this for me.
