Question about contact page

  • Unknown's avatar

Hello, I’m new and still discovering wordpress to develop my blog.
I made a contact page and on it I added name, email and room for a comment for visitors.
But everytime I visit the page these are already filled in with my own blogname and email adress so everyone who will visit my contactpage first has to remove my info from the boxes. I have no clue howto remove this.
How do I get them to be empty so that anyone who visits it sees empty boxes instead of my own name and email?
I would appriciate any help or tips regarding this.

    Kind regards,

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi @proudaddictspeaking.

Contact forms will always pre-fill information for logged in WordPress.com users. This is why you are seeing your info. I visited the page to check it out and see my info pre-filled in the boxes.

Visitors who aren’t logged in to WordPress will see blank fields. You can test this for yourself by logging out of WordPress and reloading the page, or by opening it in an incognito browser window (where you are not logged in to WordPress).

You can read more about this on the Support Page for Contact Forms:
