question about deleting my account and future email eligibility

    Will I be able to sign up in the future using my email if I delete an account that is currently using it?

    Hi there,

    WordPress.com gives you 30 days time period to reverse an account closure. During this 30 days window, your account data persists, which means that you cannot use your account email address to sign up for a new WordPress.com account. Once the 30 days are up and your account is purged, your email will be freed to use with a new account.

    Hi there,

    I see your current account has about 10 sites on it. To clarify is it your intent to delete all those sites as well? if you close your account with us all sites under that account are deleted as well.

    Instead I would recommend keeping this account open (so you can continue to use the same email address) and instead change your username to be something other than @hambeef68 if your intent is to blog under a different name.
