Hi,
WordPress.com premium plan brings many additional features. You may see all of them here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
You can easily redirect your existing free WordPress.com site to a premium WordPress.com site with a new domain. See this for more details: https://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/
You can also map a subdomain. This URL will help you do that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-subdomain/
Hope this helps! :)

Hi there,
We don’t support mapping or redirects to subdirectories on a WordPress.com site. It’s also not possible to map a specific page on your site to a subdomain as that would require access to the server configuration files which we don’t offer on WordPress.com, regardless of plan.
On a Business Plan site you might be able to set up redirects like that using a plugin. But you’d need to ask in the self-hosted WordPress forums which plugins are available to do that, and I cannot guarantee they’ll work with WordPress.com.
