Question about domain registration
-
hi there, i forgot to prolong my registered domain in wordpress the domain name is http://www.teruscantik.com. Can you help me on how to re-registered that domain again? and can it be transfered to other site?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Expired means over, dead, done and finished. https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/ We focus on not allowing domains to expire so others can purchase them when they are auctioned off and that’s why we have an auto renew feature. https://en.support.wordpress.com/manage-purchases/#auto-renew
Assuming you are agreeable to paying the redemption fee, Staff need details to recover the domain.
1. What is the domain URL? (Thanks for providing it)
2. What is the underlying .wordpress.com URL?
3. Exactly which username account registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog and purchased the upgrade for it?
4. When was the upgrade purchased?
5. When did the refund request and upgrade cancellation, or the domain expiration take place?I will type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up. Hi there,
That domain has already been removed from our system and is currently in redemption with our registrar. It is still possible for me to recover the domain at this point, but our registrar charges a $80 fee to restore a domain from redemption. I’ll need you to agree to that fee before I can get the recovery process started.
-
-
I’ve sent you a payment link for the redemption fee. Once we receive payment I can email our registrar to ask them to restore the domain.
-
We’ve received your payment, thank you. I’ve emailed our registrar to restore the domain. I’ll let you know as soon as they reply.
-
Your domain has been restored and renewed, and is back on your account. However, it will need to be verified again before it will work. I’ve sent you a new verification email to do that. It will come from a @secureserver.net address.
Once you click the link in that email your domain should be working again immediately.

hi there, thanks for the help..can i move this domain to blogger? because all my blog data in the past is on the blogger
-
You can either map or transfer your domain there, yes, but first you’ll need to verify it via the link in the email I mentioned above. You can’t do anything with that domain until it’s verified.
-
i already verified it via the link on my email but the verification issues still showed up on my wordpress account page
-
Are you speaking of the email that was sent from the @secureserver.net address? I can see the email has been requested several times, but the domain still shows as unverified.
I’ve resent the email. Please try clicking the verification link via an incognito window in Chrome.

Okay, it looks like there might be a bug here. I’ve asked a developer to take a look. I’ll let you know as soon as I hear back from them.

Do you already have a hosting account set up somewhere else? If so, you can already point the domain there by adding that host’s name servers or IP address to the domain:
Move Your Domain to Another Host
It does appear that the suspended notice might be an error on our side, though, as the domain is working for me, so you can try to get a transfer started via the instructions at the link above as well. Perhaps it will go through.

well, no i don’t have another registrar… i want to use the domain on my blogger site… i tried to follow the help page from both wordpress and blogger but i can’t find the same option on my blogger page…i’m not an IT person so this is kinda new to me
-
hi there, i tried adding some A name on the dns record and it worked!!! i think my problem solved for now…i hope you can solved the suspended bug, and again thank you for your help i really appreciate it
-
Excellent! Thanks for letting me know :)
The suspended notice is definitely an error on our side, and we have someone working on fixing this. But your domain is fine and as long as you remember to renew it on our end, you can use it with your Blogger site.
