Question about Domain Registration and Mapping

    I’m thinking of upgrading and switching my blog to a specific domain name, and was wondering:

    A. Will people who only know the original address still find (or be rerouted to) the new website?
    B. If I someday switch to wordpress.org in order to get more unique themes, and control, will I be able to keep the new domain name?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    A yes

    B As long as you change where it’s pointing and renew it regularly.
