question about domains

  I have a domain for my blog “www.fucknoiserock.com” , and I’ve figured out how to get it to forward to http://www.fucknoiserock.wordpress.com but I want it to be the primary address, so that when you search for http://www.fucknoiserock.com in your browser it stays on that page, instead of forwarding to the wordpress address.

  Before you can set a primary domain on a WordPress.com, you need to purchase the domain mapping upgrade and then set it as the primary one using the Upgrades > Domains page in your blog dashboard.

  If you don’t see the option to set a primary domain in your Upgrades > Domains page, then you have setup something like domain forwarding or domain masking through another company and that will only work if you start with the custom domain–it doesn’t actually change any mapping on the WordPress.com servers if you do it that way.
