Question about email subscribers
-
Yesterday I noticed for the first time that in the blog stats there is something labeled as “Email subscribers” and it gives the number of subscriptions to the blog
(mine reads 0 active) and subscriptions to discussions (mine has 35)I am a little confused, because I do have many email subscriptions through feedburner. Am I missing something? Is there a way to offer subscriptions through WordPress itself?
I searched the forum, but did not find anything.
Thank you! I hope everyone who celebrates Christmas had a wonderful one this year!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

“Blog subscriptions” replaces “Feedburner subscriptions” on wordpress.com blogs

Thank you!
Now, if I want to add that widget now, what will happen to all my subscribers through feedburner? Do they have to switch? Can I have three different ways to offer subscriptions living together peacefully? (I already have feedburner and subscribe by email on my front page)

When I try to add the ’email subscription’ Widget to my front page, my list of ‘recent posts’ disappears from the right side of the page and only reappears when I delete the same Widget.
This happens every time I try to add a Widget to my front page.
I am using the ‘Cutline’ Theme by Chris Pearson.
Any suggestions?
Thank you.
