Question about formatting

I’m hoping someone here can help me. I’m posting a couple of pictures with comments beside each picture. The pictures are one above the other with the comments beside them. When I click “Save and continue editing,” the bottom picture and comments go up to the end of the comments next to the top picture. So I go to the top picture and keep hitting “Enter” until the picture and text get back down underneath the top one. But when I save it it jumps back up there. How do I make those spaces stay there?
I had clicked on the first picture and then clicked on the left-justified link to get the comments (which had been underneath) up next to the picture. But what can I do to keep the bottom picture and text underneath rather than jumping up next to the top picture? I tried clicking on the bottom picture and then clicking on the left-justified link, but that didn’t work.
This isn’t on my blog yet — I just have it as a saved draft.

Use the paragraph code (p inside of brackets)
that is how it would work with html.Doubt that helps though.

The paragraph code worked — thanks! It didn’t look like it was working when I saved the post, but when I hit “Publish” it fell into place.
