Question about GetSocial Live

I’ve been using GetSocial Live for a while, and love it….
I have a question, though – is there a way to get the permalink of a post before it gets posted?
What I’m doing now is posting, and editing the post to add the GetSocial buttons at the bottom of the
article. But sometimes I would like to schedule posting for a particular time when I won’t be
around, and wonder if I could have it with the proper GetSocial links while in the “draft” stageThank you….

I don’t schedule my posts so I’ll share that up front. Hopefully someone who has actually tried what you propose will chime in and share their experience. What I observe is the structure of the permalink to a post is always the same so it seems to me you can predict what the permalink will be on a given day.

Hi. I do schedule my posts and I do add the getsocial code in advance by using the permalink that is shown below the posts title in the dashboard. After I edited that to my liking. So yes, it works fine for me.

That ONLY works if you schedule the post, then hit Update. Prior to that time, any drafts saved will have today’s date instead of the date they’re supposed to be posted on, and consequently the permalinks given to Getsociallive won’t work.
Schedule, Update, THEN grab the permalink. That works.

You’re welcome. I’ve used this four times today already! It used to screw me up terribly before I figured it out.
