Question about how domain name appears
-
I have two questions:
- Why doesn’t my domain name read as dollsofcolor.com, and not the above as showing in ‘site you need help with?’ I paid for a personal site and transferred my domain to WordPress.
- How do I get http to be https?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
Why doesn’t my domain name read as dollsofcolor.com, and not the above as showing in ‘site you need help with?’ I paid for a personal site and transferred my domain to WordPress.
While you’ve purchased the domain, you still need to set dollsofcolor.com as your primary domain. You can follow the steps here to do that: Set Primary Domain
How do I get http to be https?
Strong encryption is critical to ensure your privacy and security while using WordPress.com. We encrypt all domains that are registered and connected to a WordPress.com website with an SSL certificate.
We consider strong encryption so important that we do not allow you to compromise the security of your site by disabling it. We also 301 redirect all insecure HTTP requests to the secure HTTPS version. Our automated process adds SSL certificates from Let’s Encrypt shortly after the registration or connecting of domains. It may take up to 72 hours to add an SSL certificate to your site. If you are not seeing it yet, give it some time to take effect.
I hope that clarifies things! Let us know if you have any other questions.
