Question about importing a blog

I had a blog with blogger.com but decided to switch to wordpress so I imported my blog from blogger to wordpress. My blog on blogger.com is still up and running but I would like to delete my blogger account. My question is if I delete the blogger account would that affect my wordpress blog in any way (meaning my posts, etc)?

As long as you have imported all the posts (and can confirm by viewing them) then the content is officially on wordpress.com and is fine. The import process physically moves the posts from blogger to wordpress and once that is completed, you can do as you decide on the blogger blog ;)

Mind you, although the posts have been imported, NONE of your images has. You need to manually insert every single image again. If you delete your Blogger blog without doing this all images will vanish from your wordpress.com blog.
