Question about Ipseity theme

My question revolves around the Ipseity theme. I am currently using this on my wordpress site, but I have come to a hault.
I am trying to navigate users to a password protected portfolio section on my site.
What I want to know is, is there anyway that I can have the navigation arrows not display if they are on this portfolio page?
for example…. say some jibberish such as: if page=portfolio, stripnavL, stripnavR = do not display…
this sort of thing…
any advice is welcome and thank you for reading…
