Question about Menu bar and how to store content there?
-
Hey guys,
I want to have in my blog separate sections such as lifestyle and travels. But when I post a blog entry it all goes to “home”. is there a way to direct certain entries into certain menu bar and have a list there? Maybe I am not seeing something or maybe its not possible?
Thanks
Laura

I have the same issue. There are posts & videos out there explaining how to do this but they are all outdated & on the old WordPress format. I’d love to know how to do this on the 2017 format. Thanks for any help with this.

Hi @onefootabroad! & @amarnanixo!
You can use Category Pages to organize your posts.
– write posts, and select categories under Tags and Categories in the editor
– use My Site > Menus to add those categories to your site’s menuThe Posts Page on your site (often the homepage) will always display all of your posts, from all categories. One way around that is to use a Static Front Page, and on that page use the Display Posts Shortcode to list posts from specific categories only.
Of course, you could also use your Static Front Page to display something other than blog posts, if you only want them listed in their respective categories!
