Question About Mobile Themes

I have a free WordPress.com blog and really liked the OnSwipe feature that was unfortunately discontinued. Is there any way I can make my free WordPress blog iPad friendly. I have chosen a theme I am told is mobile friendly. I have seen some self hosted WordPress blogs using a free plug that re-enables this functionality. I however, don’t have access to plugins on my blog and am at a loss for how to make my blog iPad friendly. Are there any options available to me other than becoming a paid subscriber. I don’t need any of the premium features – added storage, ad removal etc just want my blog to be iPad friendly.

Is there any option for a free blog short of upgrading?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can choose to use a responsive width theme because the mobile theme is a completely different theme.

    See here http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/responsive-layout/

Know that responsive width means the layout adapts depending on the size of the device being used to view your site. When responsive width themes are viewed on mobiles sidebars appear below the posts in order to provide as much space as possible for reading.

Go to > Appearance > Mobile and disable the mobile theme
