Question about mp3 player in premium vs free themes

Some of the premium music-related themes have a very elegant way to present mp3 playlists. For example, on Promenade theme (https://promenadedemo.wordpress.com/)
Is this a feature/functionality exclusive/unique to those themes specifically designed to support those music players?
Or can I customize a regular wordpress.com audio playlist similarly with any theme?

Customized audio player will never look even half good as the music players on the themes designed specifically for music and musician sites.

And I need to have a Premium or Business plan in order to make use of these cool music players, is that correct?(I’m not happy with the way the Soundcloud player shows up. Despite they offer 2 options, the one with the small album cover image never works for me. So frustrating!)

Do you mean the cool players on the premium themes? Or the players on https://en.support.wordpress.com/audio/ support document?
Business plan includes unlimited Premium themes but the players on Audio support document linked above can be used for free on any theme.
