Question about multiple blogs

Add topic to favorites
I have had my original blog for a while now, and today I decided to register a 2nd blog for a business I am planning to open. I noticed, however, that my new blog says ‘Posted By..” and uses my other blog name. Is there any way to change this?

If not, can I delete my new blog, and register it seperatly, or will it say it’s been taken?

Don’t delete!!

Register a new user.
Login to the blog as you are now
Add the new user to the blog
Logout
Login as the new user
Remove the other user from the blog.

But do not delete anything – it will not come back.

hmm i guess you should just register as a new member..
if it’s getting on your nerves.

You can also change the primary blog, ie the blog linked to your username. I believe you do this on the Profile page. Then no matter where you post or comment, ALL links from your name will go to that blog. That’s probably a good way to boost visibility for a business blog.

I have a follow up question. After one deletes the original administrator, how can one change the email address associated with the blog? It keeps defaulting to the original administrator.

if i figure out how to follow mark’s directions above, can i have a new profile/avatar for my new blog?

Yes, the new user will have its own profile and avatar. When you’re commenting on other blogs (or even your own) make sure you’re logged into wp.com under the correct account. I have a couple different identities here depending on what I’m blogging about and I’ve left a comment once or twice on a blog while logged in under the wrong user name.
