question about my domain and transfering it to you

    I have paid up to 2027 for my domain with GoDaddy. I’m confused about the transfer to WordPress…It looks like I will have to start paying you for something I am already paid up for. Am I right?

    Hi there,

    You will need a paid plan with us to transfer the domain here, but the domain will transfer with its existing expiration date intact, and it will be renewed for another year as part of the transfer process. So you won’t lose any time you’ve already paid for on the domain, and after the transfer the next renewal for the domain will only be due in 2028.

    Super! Thank you for help and I will make the transfer once I learned to design my blog. I’m in the baby steps mode at present.
