Question about one WordPress profile linked to several blogs (privacy related)
-
Hi. I have one account here and three blogs. Two are no longer in use. I started the third blog just the other day as I want to start over and make my work more private, and not connected to the others. It’s not connected to my name or my WP account name. I have no identifying information on the new blog and the author name is switched off for my posts. The old blog is feministconfessional.wordpress.com
However, as it’s linked at the back end to my other blogs and previous blog name, I’m wondering if people will be able to find this new blog and connect it up to me?
I ask this question because two followers from my previous blog liked a post on my new blog today, yet they don’t follow the new, secret blog and I haven’t told them it’s me and my work. Has the WordPress algorithm simply suggested they might like my work as WP knows I am the same person? Or, is my identity clearly labelled out there somewhere in the reader and connecting my WP identity up with the new blog?
I’ve tried looking online about this and checking the reader etc myself but I can’t see anything. If someone can let me know I’d be very grateful. Basically I don’t want this new blog publicly connected to me, my name, or the old blog, in any way, even if they are connected at the back end. Thank you!
WP.com: Yes
Jetpack: No
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

i think I’ve solved the problem by creating a new account under the name of the new blog and then adding that user as administrator. Then making sure that user is selected as author when I post. Should that cover it and stop it being linked to the old blog/username?

Admins, can you please delete this post as I have solved the problem and it contains username information I inadvertently added and don’t wish to share? Thank you! I can’t find a way to delete this.
