Question about payment systems

    I want to make e-commerce website but before i try to make it i have a some questions

    1. We have domain already which we used. Now we use Wix.com for that but it has a lots of limited services and systems. That is why i want to move to WordPress.com. I’m not a expert so i need to make it first and i need to see how it works. So is it possible to make it with another domain and change real domain later?

    2. The reason why we choose Wix.com first, my website manager who passed away 3 months ago, he said WordPress does not support AppStar payment. I’m not a expert and i really do not have any knowledge about making website. So i was wondering about is it possible to connect with AppStar now? Or do you guys can make it possible to connect AppStar? Or do i need to use another payment systems?

    Please let me know about all the information as soon as possible.

    You can create a new WordPress.com site without transferring your domain, yes.

    All sites on WordPress.com get a free WordPress.com or .blog subdomain when the site is created, that functions just like any regular subdomain, and your site is fully online and accessible at that subdomain (provided you set it to public).

    So you can experiment and build your site at that free address, even upgrade the site while still using the free address, and only switch the domain over to us once you’re ready.

    So i was wondering about is it possible to connect with AppStar now? Or do you guys can make it possible to connect AppStar? Or do i need to use another payment systems?

    We, as in the hosting platform WordPress.com, do not offer any integration with AppStar payments. But that doesn’t mean there doesn’t exist a WordPress plugin you can use to add that integration. Your best option is to contact AppStar directly to ask if they offer any official WordPress plugin, or else know of one that you can use. If such a plugin exists, you should be able to also use it here on our Business or eCommerce plan.
