Question about posting NSFW content

    Hello, I just created this blog and I have some questions about posting Mature content.

    If I post a video or screenshot of a gameplay picturing a sex scene between the characters, does it counts as pornography? I’m not allowed to post it?

    WordPress.com does not necessary suspend blogs that show offensive speech, mature subject material.

    Post visual depictions of sexually explicit acts (such as, but not limited to, images, videos, and drawings) that can be considered pornographic are not encouraged though. Such blogs will be suspended by WordPress.com. You can read about that here. https://en.support.wordpress.com/mature-content/

    No. Posting such material will get your site suspended and, depending on what you’ve posted, possibly reported to the authorities. Please read carefully the information in our support guide to Mature Content that @strikebuys linked to https://en.support.wordpress.com/mature-content/

    From what you’ve posted above,

    Whether virtual or not does not make any difference. Regardless, I’ve tagged this thread for Staff attention and input.

    Hi there,

    As have been said already, we allow mature content, provided you report your site as mature, but not pornographic content, which includes images of sexual acts.

    What qualifies as pornography is decided by our terms of service team and handled on a case by case basis. As this concerns a terms of service issue that’s as much as we can help with this in the forums.
