Question about referrers

  I have noticed that under the Referrers section in my stats WordPress.com is listed as a referrer. Could someone please explain to me how people are getting to my blog this way? I’m in no way complaining, just curious. Thank you!

  People coming to your blog off Freshly Pressed, or Blogs Of The Day, or off their dashboards (if you linked to them, this is very common) will all be listed as coming from WordPress.com or WordPress Dashboard.

  You’ll have a significant spike in traffic. And you can go to the Freshly Pressed page and look for yourself.
