Question about refund eligibility and plan status after cancelling Premium plan
-
Hello,
I subscribed to the WordPress.com Premium plan with a 1-year term on November 17, paying $96, and also connected my custom domain.
However, I experienced difficulties using the service, so I cancelled the subscription on December 1, which is within 14 days of the initial purchase.I would like to ask the following:
- Since the cancellation was made within 14 days, am I eligible for a full refund under WordPress.com’s refund policy?
- If the refund is not processed for some reason, my account currently shows that I am on the Free plan.
In this case, shouldn’t I still be able to use the Premium plan features until November 16, 2026, since I originally paid for a one-year subscription?
I would appreciate your clarification on whether a refund will be issued and why the plan status shows as Free despite the original one-year payment.
Thank you.
