Question about Related Posts

  right now, I’m using related posts that appears below of each posts and I notice something wrong.

  3 posts in related posts are in difference tags, I mean, when i look at a post that has “video” tag , I saw 1or2 of those 3 posts have different tags in them (such as “picture” tag).

  i don’t know category or tag will be the one that will decide to group posts and place into “related posts” so if you can tell me, it’s gratitude.

  I don’t think the algorithm to select related posts is based on only one thing like categories or tags. I imagine it is a combination of category, tag, title and post content.
