question about removing ads

  If I pay the $30/yr to remove ads from my site, does this also remove the text at the bottom of the page that says something like “Blog at WordPress.com NameOfTheme”?

  No it does not. All blogs hosted here, including $2600 a month VIP blogs, have to display that.
