question about site

    Considering a site but have some questions
    •I am an artist. – looking for a template that has white background, not black in the view of images

    ° Want a website and blog integrated
    • I already have a Dreamweaver site: http://www.jannpollard.com, and would wish to transfer it, once tested. I do it myself so am website ready
    • want to be able to sell on the internet with credit card
    • desire to create artwork collections, and archive them, too.

    You will not be able to do real ecommerce here; all that code will be stripped out. You can still sell your artwork via a Paypal Donation button, but it’s not ideal. For ecommerce, you need to get paid hosting and use software from WordPress.ORG.

    The Dreamweaver site will lose all its formatting as you can’t import those image files and functionality here. The contents will transfer okay, although if there’s no exporter you may have to copy/paste.

    We have about 200 themes here to choose from, most with a light background.
