Question about speeding up performance
-
I’m finding wordpress.com to be far too slow for interactive use (I’m in Australia) and was wondering if there’s any way to **automatically** sync blogs between wordpress servers. Then I could have my own wordpress server at home to do my editing on (fast) and set it up to sync to my blog on wordpress.com.
Is this possible?
Cheers.

Not with WordPress.com, but there are ways to do that with a self-hosted WordPress installation from http://wordpress.org/
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.
http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/WordPress.org has complete support and documentation sites for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress at:

Hi, Thanks for the reply! Just so I’m sure – you’re saying that an entire blog can be incrementally synced between two self hosted WordPress servers, but not between one and wordpress.com?

Yes, there are ways to do it, but we don’t allow that type of access on WordPress.com for security reasons.
