question about tagging a post "education" when the whole site is about education

  I have a question. I see on the global tags some general tags that could be applied to every single post I do (for example children, education, etc). I don’t use these tags because I would be using them for every single post. Am I correct in not tagging every post as “education” on a site that is completely educational material?

  I wonder the same thing myself. If I don’t tag, am I missing out on being found? OTOH, if I did tag it would be a giant but meaningless word in the tag word cloud.
