question about the name of a blog

  Hello,

  I want to create a blog named The Box. I saw that there is another one called the same, but it hasn’t been used since 2006.

  I tried to contact the owner to delete it, but I cannot find any contact information.

  would it be possible to delete this blog so I can create a new one and use it?

  The only way you can get that name would be to take the blog over from the current owner. WordPress won’t reclaim the blog just to recycle the name, though. You’ll have to settle for an altered URL.
