Question about updating SSL/HTTPS

  I just went through the instructions for checking off “Always use HTTPS when visiting administration pages” and going through the “turbo” download. I just want to be sure of something – after I do this, I’m to go back to my profile and “uncheck” “Always use HTTPS when visiting administration pages”?

  The way I understood it was you leave the box check marked
  for the https after you enable Gears, But I noticed the link turns
  from green to red.

  I was doing a major overhaul on my blog with template change and rearranging widgets and such and unchecked that box so it could be faster. But it was still https:// and slow. Anyone know why?

  Nevermind. I had to clear cookies, cache, and history and then the https was gone.
