Question about upgrading my domain name

  My blog is, for example, – https://myblog.wordpress.com and I am considering upgrading it, with wordpress, to http://www.myblog.com

  I wanted to know if, once I change it, would someone clicking https://myblog.wordpress.com still link to my blog or would that url be disabled?

  Hi there. The free address will not stop working, no. In fact, all your content will still be at the old address. The custom domain is merely laid over the free address, so people visiting your site will see myblog.com if they look at their browser’s address bar, but they’ll actually be looking at myblog.wordpress.com. Either link will get them to your blog.
