Question about WooCommerce on WordPress.org

    Hi all,
    We have WooCommerce as the e-commerce solution on our website. We’ve only ever historically logged into WooCommerce via our wordpress.org login to our website backend.

    We’d like to access WooCommerce seperate from WordPress.org. Is this possible? We do not have WooCommerce.com account login info. I created an account on WordPress.com just to login to WooCommerce.com, but I do not want to set-up a new WooCommerce page — we have one! There does not seem to be a way to link an existing account.

    In short, we are trying to get someone else to access our WooCommerce information without having to login to our website — (we do not want to provide Shop Manager, Editor, Admin access, etc. We’d like them to login straight from WooCommerce. Is this possible?

    Hi @mfernandezfeedingsouthfloridaorg! You’ve actually posted in the forums for free WordPress.com sites.

    Are you trying to give someone some level of access to your own store’s WooCommerce admin? Or are you hoping to give someone who has zero access to your site access to the extensions you’ve purchased through WooCommerce.com?

    Could you reach out here and clarify which of those options you’re hoping to do? You can just explain what type of role that person would play and what they need access to vs what they need to be barred from, and that should help.
