Question about WordPress capability
-
Does WordPress or any plugin allow site visitors to email others with a query without revealing their real email address?
In other words, send out a request with a custom email such as (email visible only to moderators and staff) to a list of relevant destinations that could potentially reply to that query?
This is used by some sites as well as ‘ticket’ query platforms, I was wondering if it’s a capability at all that can be added to WordPress sites.
It’s a forum-like functionality except that it encourages 1-to-1 emails as opposed to on-site multi-user conversation.
Thanks

Hi there!
Your WordPress.com Business plan does allow you to add plugins but we can’t advise or recommend a specific plugin to add that functionality to your site. However, I did do a quick search of the WordPress.org plugin directory for
private messageand a number of results did show up:https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/private+message/
You would need to review each plugin and determine which one would be best for your site. There may be other premium plugins out there that would not be found on the WordPress.org plugin directory, so you might want to do a quick Google search to see if there are any other options.
In the future, since you have a Business plan, you have access to priority email and live chat support. You can access this priority support from your account page, where you can get help more quickly than by posting in the free public support forums.

Hope that helps you get started!
