  how do I access ‘trash’ folder to restore blog mistakenly trashed?

  Trashed blog? I assume you mean you trashed a post? If so it’s, Dashboard>Posts>All Posts, but you will only see the ‘Trash’ if you actually have anything in Trash.

  That link is on the bottom of your Admin page and in many other locations on site and the search box there works very well http://en.support.wordpress.com/?s=trash

  thanks – for some reason nothing in trash – however did not lose the Orson Welles post afterall – and have re-posted it…
