Question: Follow blog widget
-
We are busy with our own domain and we want to keep our 278 wordpress/e-mail followers (widget: Follow blog) from http://www.thegirlsbehindthecamera.com . Does anyone know how to export these followers to our own domain (www.thegirlsbehindthecamera.com) ?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Provided you have installed and activated the JetPack plugin http://jetpack.me on your WordPress.org install, and you post the relevant URL(s) into a forum thread, Staff will do the transfer of both subscribers and stats for you. Do that now please as I have tagged this thread for their attention.

We want to export our wordpress/e-mail followers from http://www.thegirlsbehindthecamera.wordpress.com to http://www.thegirlsbehindthecamera.com
Can you clarify this please. You made the statement above, but I am seeing that jetpack is connected to http://www.thegirlsbehindthecamera.com/wordpress. Is that the location you want? Or are you planning on using thegirlsbehindthecamera.com?

You would want to get that set up and correctly connected to Jetpack before we transfer subscribers then.
Jetpack needs to be connected at the location you intend to use.

Ok thanks for your response! Tomorrow night I’ll post here again when you can find jetpack on http://www.thegirlsbehindthecamera.com

Oh I have another question: Is it also possible to export our statics from thegirlsbehindthecamera.wordpress.com to thegirlsbehindthecamera.com?
Thanks!

Do you know if your post ID’s on your new site match the post ID’s on your old site? This does not matter as far as subscriber migration. But it can cause wonky results if they do not match and we merge the stats.
