Question on blog and posts

I have been struggling for days and trying to find help online with no success. I don’t even know the correct wording for what I’m searching for.
I have seen many blogs that have different categories. When you click on a a category, the posts are summarized and listed and you can chose which post to read.So on mine, my menu and categories are set up. But my posts are coming up as full posts and I would like them to be summarized like that.

I have the same question as supernovacastillo and I am using WordPress.com
I have two blog pages but I can’t work out how to split my posts between the two blogs – I’m using the Hever theme.
Any help would be appreciated -

There’s a couple different ways to do this. Depending on the volume of the posts you could consider using a unique category that’s linked in the site menu versus an actual “page”. That would display all of the posts using that category when the visitor clicked on it from the menu.

I went with assigning a category to each post and nestling the categories under my main blog page. It seems to work okay.
