Question on Importing

  Hi. I’m using a wordpress.org blog, and I’m trying to import my posts from my wordpress.com blog. On my WordPress.com, I hit export, saved the file. Then, on my wordpress.org, I hit import, clicked the file, and uploaded. This is the message I got:

  Sorry, there has been an error.

  Unable to create directory /home/a2638275/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2008/05. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

  Help?

  This is a linux permissions error, not a problem with the export from wordpress.com. You’ll want to check with your hosting provider and on the wordpress.org forums.

  maybe try exporting another file from your wp.com blog and see if it works this time? otherwise, it would suggest that your wp.org blog has a problem, and you’d have to go to http://wordpress.org/support to get help.

  I am using 000webhost and I’ve tried like, 3 different files.
