Question on navigtion bar

I want to have something like this on the top of my website.

This ribbon was done with the “classic” view.

I’m using a different theme now (“matrioska”). I see the options below.

But I don’t understand how to get the navigation bar to show up as a ribbon on my website. I need to turn something “on”, but I don’t know what it is.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi @spencer3d2e441b8a,

I understand that you are trying to add navigation buttons on your site which can be accomplished by adding a Navigation block.

The Navigation block is typically added to your site’s templates, most commonly in the header or footer template part. To add a Navigation block, follow these steps:

    1. Visit your site’s dashboard.
    2. Navigate to Appearance → Editor.
    3. Click on the right side to start editing the homepage, or select the template or template part where you want the navigation menu to appear.
    4. Click the + block inserter and search for “navigation”.
    5. Click the Navigation block to add it to your site.
