With the personal plan, can I add theme that I purchase elsewhere? Also, it says it’s billed yearly. Can I cancel if I don’t like it before the full year?
With the personal plan, does my blog name turn from xxx.wordpress.com to xxx.com?

Hi @balancejoyanddelicias you can’t use a custom theme that you purchased elsewhere with any of the WordPress.com plans. WordPress.com comes with hundreds free and paid preinstalled themes and you must use those for your website.
Regarding your second question, yep plans purchases can be canceled within 30 days of purchasing and yes, the personal plan comes with a Custom Domain Name included.

To be honest I never used any of the BlueHost services – however it looks at BlueHost you’ll need to self manage your WordPress installation, take care of the security, updates, etc.. is not a managed WordPress service.

Hi @balancejoyanddelicias. What @dragoso said is true. There are plenty of themes you can choose from to use with your Personal plan, which you can see here: https://wordpress.com/themes/
If you moved your site to Bluehost, you would would have to migrate your site by exporting it from WordPress.com and then setting up WordPress plus all the plugins and whatever theme you’ve chosen over there and then import your data. If you’re not comfortable doing that, Bluehost will help you migrate your site, but there’s a fee. And you would also have fee for having your site hosted there too.
